I took part in a week long intensive green wood working course at Wernog Wood. We were taught how to make a Windsor Chair from green ash using hand powered tools and traditional methods.
We learned the essential methods and techniques behind each process working from log cleaving, using a shave horse, operation of a footpole lathe, marking up and assembly.
